LCN x Ample Leather – Time – Handmade Leather Mini Pennant & Tassel Set.

Time can be both fleeting and lingering at once… These leather pennant and tassel sets feature beautiful gold stamped designs representing this dual nature of time. The moon phase on the mini pennant symbolizes the passing of time, while the gold stamped tassel represents a meteor’s tail. Togetherthey create a shooting star, which exists so briefly in the sky but stays in one’s memory forever.

LCN has invited Ample Leather, a Taiwanese leather company, to hand craft these sets from scratch. The pennants are made with vegetable-tanned leather, while the tassels are made with softer leather which can beeasily trimmed to desired lengths! The sets are available in Withered Grass, a mossy green color, and Deep Sky, a dark blue color.

Lin Chia Ning (LCN) is a talented Taiwanese artist who loves stationery and who loves to hand craft beautiful stationery. Her stationery ranges from her early works of hand carved stamps, washi tapes, dioramas with mushrooms and gemstones, distressed papers, to the recent vintage labels and many of her iconic stamps. She draws inspirations from nature, vintage items and uses watercolor to create an unreal and magical world. On top of her busy life, shes published a book in Taiwan too! Here are some of her recent designs. And just like her dioramas, each individual box feels like its frozen in time in its small magical world.
